What began as a graphic design passion project has blossomed into something more significant (see original story). Allow me to elaborate: this endeavor has transformed into a dedicated website for the staff, students, and community associated with Virgil Public School.
It’s essential to note that this website operates independently and has no official affiliation with either the District School Board of Niagara, the Ministry of Education, or the new owners of the building that once housed Virgil Public School.
As the creator of this platform, I want to emphasize that my intentions are transparent: this is not the school's website, nor do I harbor any profit motive related to its creation and maintenance. Instead, I envision it as a space where the Virgil community and those from the surrounding areas can come together to share memories and reminisce about their experiences at Virgil Public School.
Despite the emotions we may have experienced as students, in hindsight, many of our perspectives may have shifted. It’s fascinating how time and reflection can alter our feelings about a time and place.
